For manufacturers who know they are behind on AI

AI for small and mid-sized manufacturers, at your pace

You have heard for two years that AI is going to change manufacturing. Every demo you have seen assumes you already have clean data and a team to run it. We start where you actually are, fix something real in the first month, and build from there.

  • Start with one real problem
  • Live in 2 to 4 weeks
  • You own it
  • No lock-in

No pilot that goes nowhere. No platform to buy. You own everything we build.

The gap

The problem is not that you are behind. It is that nobody will tell you where to start.

We hear the same three things from every owner who has been circling this for a year.

01

Every vendor assumes you are further along

The demo shows a beautiful assistant answering questions about clean, structured data. Yours is in an ERP, forty spreadsheets, and somebody's head. So the demo is impressive and useless, and you move on.

A year of demos and nothing running

02

You have been sold a platform before

You bought the system, formed your entire process around it, and now you work the way the software wants instead of the way your business does. Nobody wants to do that again for AI.

Once bitten, and rightly so

03

The competition is quiet about it

You cannot tell whether the shop across town is actually doing this or just talking. So the safe move looks like waiting, right up until it is not.

The gap compounds while you wait

What we do

How we guide it

A sequence, not a package. Each step earns the next one.

Start with what already costs you

Not the most impressive AI use case. The most expensive manual one. It is almost always somewhere specific, and your people can name it in ten minutes.

In practice

Usually it is someone re-keying orders between systems, or a report that takes three days, or a number nobody can see until month end. We fix that first, because a win people can feel buys the room for everything after it.

Give the data somewhere to live

Most AI projects fail on data, not on AI. Before anything clever, we get your numbers into a shape a tool can actually use.

In practice

The ERP, the spreadsheets, the files on local PCs, the things people email around. Connected, structured, and kept current on their own. This is unglamorous and it is the part that decides whether the rest works.

Build the tool your business actually needs

Not a license to software built for someone else. A tool shaped around how you already work, for the job you actually have.

In practice

A quoting tool that knows your routings. A tablet on the floor that fits your process. A portal your customers will use. Built for you, deployed in your accounts, and yours to keep.

Open the door to AI safely

Once your data is reachable, an MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot answer from it. Scoped, logged, read only until you decide otherwise.

In practice

This is the step everyone imagines when they picture AI, and it is the fourth thing we do rather than the first. Done in this order it works. Done first, it is a demo.

Take the repetitive work off people

The typing, the copying, the chasing. Every place a person is a bridge between two systems is a place we can automate.

In practice

Nobody was hired to retype purchase orders. Automating that is not about headcount, it is about getting your experienced people back onto the work only they can do.

Then keep going, or do not

You decide the pace. Some companies do one thing a year. Some do four in six months. Both are fine, and neither requires a retainer.

In practice

Because you own what we build and it runs in your accounts, stopping costs you nothing. That is deliberate. A consultant you cannot leave is not a guide, it is a subscription.

Not sure which of these matters most for your company? That is what the first call is for.

Under the hood

What makes this different from the last thing you were sold

Four commitments, and you should hold us to all of them.

Your systems stay yours
We build on the ERP you already run. No replacement, no migration, no forming your business around another vendor's idea of how a manufacturer works.
Something real in weeks
Two to four weeks to the first working piece. If we cannot show you something running in a month, the scope was wrong and we should have said so.
You own the result
Deployed to your infrastructure, on your accounts, documented. No per-seat fee to us, no platform you rent, nothing that stops working if we stop talking.
Your pace, not ours
One project or ten. There is no roadmap you have to commit to and no retainer. We would rather you come back because it worked.

What we will not do

  • We will not sell you a platform. Everything we build is yours, running in your accounts.
  • We will not start with the impressive thing. We start with the expensive thing, because that is what earns the next step.
  • We will not pretend your data is ready when it is not. If the honest first move is unglamorous plumbing, we will say so.
  • We will not tell you to replace your ERP. Most large replacement projects overrun and a majority miss their goals.
  • We will not take the project if a spreadsheet would genuinely do. Saying so costs us one job and saves you a bad one.

2 to 4 weeks

to the first working thing, not to a slide deck

20 to 40+ hrs

of monthly manual work removed in a typical engagement

0

platforms to buy, licenses to rent, or lock-in of any kind

Getting started with AI for the ERP you already run

We build this on any system we can read. These are the ones we work in most.

Questions

AI for manufacturers questions we get asked

No, and everybody says this. Nobody has clean data, including the companies in the case studies. Getting your data into usable shape is not a prerequisite you have to finish before calling us, it is one of the things we do. If the honest first step is unglamorous plumbing, we will tell you that on the first call rather than after you have signed something.

More than it is for the big ones, in some ways. You can decide something on Tuesday and have it running the same month, which a 5,000 person company cannot. What you do not have is a team to absorb a failed project, which is exactly why we start small, prove it, and let you choose whether to keep going.

Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need, and you get a fixed price before anything starts. The first call is free and thirty minutes. We will tell you the real number, including when the real number is "this is not worth doing yet".

No, and the structure is deliberate. Everything is deployed to your own infrastructure and accounts and documented before we leave. No retainer is required. If you never call us again, everything we built keeps running. A consultant you cannot leave is not a guide.

Not for the build. We handle the engineering, the deployment, and the documentation. Plenty of the manufacturers we work with have one IT person, or none. What we need is a few hours with the people who actually run the business, because they know where the work piles up and no software can tell us that.

You do not, entirely, and anyone who promises otherwise is selling. What you can do is make the first step small enough that being wrong is cheap. That is why we start with one specific expensive problem instead of a transformation program. If the first one works, you have evidence. If it does not, you are out weeks rather than a year.

That is a real option and sometimes the right one. The thing to know is that the gap compounds. The advantage does not come from the tools, which everybody can buy, it comes from having your data in a usable state, and that takes time no matter when you start. The companies that will be far ahead in two years are the ones doing the unglamorous part now.

Let's talk

Not sure where you would even start?

That is the most common reason people call, and it is exactly what the first call is for. Thirty minutes, no pitch. You describe where the work piles up and we tell you honestly what we would do first, and whether it is worth doing at all.
